Known within the Freestyle community simply as ‘the big one’, DKKQ is the freestyle dance festival to end all festivals.  Taking place over three days each December following a two day load-in and testing period, DKKQ is one of the most anticipated events of the year, attracting thousands of entries from across Europe.

We have been providing multicamera coverage of this event since 2014, and each year we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible to deliver on this prestigious event; always in time, and always on budget.  As a three day event which runs for 12 hours per day, we run three camera positions for ‘main event’ coverage such as opening ceremonies, grand finals and awards presentations, and then also run a separate fixed-rig setup using remote PTZ heads to cover the remainder of the event from multiple angles, to deliver a fully live-mixed presentation for each of the 12 hour days.

Running alongside this is our Resolume media server, feeding graphics to three modular LED screens and a spectacular LED staircase.  We also handle all elements of video routing and distribution to provide onstage comfort monitors and backstage feeds to every dressing room, along with a full show-record and nightly highlights package edits.
