In the first event of its kind – never seen nor cycled before – the world’s greatest riders came together in Glasgow and across Scotland in August 2023 to compete at the highest level over 13 UCI World Championships.  Covering 13 separate events was a mammoth task for our friends at ADI.tv and so they called on the team at VME to help deliver Sports Presentation for the cycling time-trials at one of Scotland’s most celebrated visitor attractions, Stirling Castle.

VME were responsible for taking a feed from NEP, working on behalf of the host broadcaster, and providing an onsite edit with a mix of live camera and local content, as well as running a scripted medal ceremony on all three days of the event.  Using our mini flypack kit, consisting of a 4K switcher, SSD recording deck and graphics playback system, an onsite director worked with the UCI sports presentation team to feed a TX output to a huge 25m² LED screen and deliver a spectacular event.
